Samsung r810c Finesse characterize - level Talk

The Samsung Finesse r810c was released for right Talk Wireless in December, 2009, and created a Lot of buzz among prepaid phone users. At first glance, the r810c appears to be all things prepaid users have been dreaming of: it includes a large touch screen, high-speed Evdo data connection, music player, 2.0 mp camera, camcorder, bluetooth, and many other features.

To top it all off, this phone is now ready on right Talk's inexpensive, no-contract plans. At per month, the unlimited calling, text, and data plan is pretty appealing, especially when that data is arrival over a 3G connection. For population who, like me, are geeky sufficient to lust after the iPhone but "frugal" sufficient to stick to prepaid, this might be the exquisite solution.

Samsung Phone

In fact, I couldn't resist. After reading a few of the preliminary reviews of the Finesse from other right Talk users, I bit the bullet and purchased my own Samsung r810c, along with a month of unlimited service.

Samsung r810c Finesse characterize - level Talk

I've just received the phone, and I'm so enamored with the gadget I set up a detach Samsung r810c website to release my recapitulate of the phone and share tips and tricks with other right Talk users. As I gain more experience with the Finesse, I'll be putting up a very detailed recapitulate of the phone. I'll also do my best to reply any questions that population might have if I happen to miss prominent information in my review.

As I said above, I've only had the phone a few days, so I haven't used it sufficient to genuinely test it out. Here's what I can tell you so far, though - the voice potential seems adequate, but not fantastic. I would say it's on par with the Samsung r451c, someone else right Talk phone released earlier this fall, but not quite as good as the Lg 290c and 220c, also up-to-date models on right Talk.

What is beyond compare, though, is the touch screen and Evdo browser. The touch screen right on takes some getting used to, but I think I'll grow to like it. It's similar to an iPhone or iPod touch as far as how the touch screen works, but just a miniature dissimilar in sensitivity.

One thing worth noting here is that, unlike the aforementioned Apple products, the Finesse lacks "multi-touch" functionality. This means that the screen can sense only one "touch" at time, thus preventing use of Apple's favorite pinch-to-zoom operation. As an iPod touch user, I find that a miniature disappointing. Beyond that disappointment, though, I like the touch screen. This is the first touch-screen phone I've used. It's nice to use, and even nicer to look at it

One thing that I genuinely like is the Evdo internet access. I've had any phones now with internet access, but used them all very miniature because they were so slow. That is not the case with the r810c's 3G data. It's genuinely not as fast as broadband internet at your home, but it's fast sufficient that I'd be happy to use it to pass time while waiting in a waiting room or as a passenger in a vehicle.

Just as a point of reference, I was able to load the Cnn website in about a minute, complete with a dozen pictures. On old prepaid phones, if it loaded at all it would have taken any minutes to load a site like Cnn, and that wouldn't have included any pictures at all.

To check my email from my Yahoo! email account, it took me about 3 minutes to load the site, enter my password, and download my messages. I then reset the home page to yahoo mail, and saved my login info automatically. Now I can get to my new messages in about 45 seconds.

How to Unlock Samsung mobile Phones

You have just purchased one of the many models of Samsung mobile phones. When you get it home, you try to use it with another network provider, and you find out that you can not. It could be that you haven't unlocked your mobile phone yet. Why is your phone locked to begin with? The rejoinder to this is simple. The company you bought your phone from wants you to use only their network so they have located extra types of locks on your phone that stop you from using other networks.

Although cell phones often have these locks, it is not illegal for man who purchases the phone to remove the lock. Doing so will allow you to use other networks and possibly enlarge your calling area. It also increases the resell value of the phone.

Samsung Phone

Let us begin the procedure of unlocking your mobile phone. Here are the things you will need to know before hand. What is your handset's model number? What is your Imei number? What network operator is your mobile phone locked to? Does your particular model phone require any software or hardware like Ns Pro, Ns Pro Dongle, or Nspro? If so, where can you acquire the required items? You may need just a Sim card in order for mobile phone unlocking.

How to Unlock Samsung mobile Phones

In some cases, a dongle might be needed in order to unlock the phone. A dongle began as slang for a hardware key. Now is used to spin a small adapter with a short cable that has connectors on both sides. The dongle used to unlock Samsung mobile Phones is used in conjunction with the Ns Pro software.

If your mobile phone does not require the Ns Pro or dongle it will need a Sim card. It is a small rectangular card that is in all Gsm phones. The card is your phone's Id card. Without it your phone won't work. It is located behind your phone's battery, storing up to 250 contacts, which makes it easy to exchange your phone book when switching phones. This is just one of the many advantages of the Sim card.

Another benefit is that you can convert your phone by switching the Sim card to another phone as long as they use the same carrier. The swap is quick and easy.
Once your mobile phone is unlocked you can buy prepaid Sim cards, so if you are on a trip your phone can have a local number wherever you are located. Unlocking your phone can also be done wirelessly if you have the right codes, and if your network doesn't have that many locks on the phone. There are some sites that can give you the codes for unlocking mobile phones. It is just a matter of finding the right site that has your particular model phone on its list of unlocking codes. You will then naturally need to enter the codes as instructed and enjoy your increased calling ability.

How to Text Message to Advertised Short Code Numbers Using Us Cellular Motorola Cell Phone MotoRazr2

Have you ever heard on the radio, or heard on store speakers, or seen an advertisement , telling you to "Text Biz to 82222" or to text some other word, to some other number, like you may have heard a lot of habitancy did with the "American Idol Voting" a few years back?  Have you ever been tempted to "Text" a recommended "word" to a recommended "Short Code" just to see what happens?  Have you ever tried to use a "Motorola MotoRazr2" cell phone to "Text to a Code" and got stuck on "How Do I Do That?"  If you want to know more about "How To Text to Codes with a "Motorola Razr2," some of the things you can get when you "Text to Short Codes," and more about "Short Codes," I ask and encourage you to read on.

I can tell you how it is done, because the funny thing is, that when I went to try to text "Biz" to "82222" as the advertisement instructed me to do, I had no idea how to do it.  Like most people, regular "Texting" seems easy and happens all of the time, but "Texting to Short Code" is still new to a lot of people, along with me, so I went on a mission to find out how.  I did find out how and wanted to share how to "Text to Code" with others.  Below is what I found:

Motorola Phone

My local Us Cellular store is where I started looking for data on how to "Text to Code."  They had no idea how to "Send a Text to Short Code".  They did give me the toll free estimate for Tech Support.  So, I called that estimate and they could not tell me how to do it either.  While I was on the land line phone with them, and messing colse to with my Cell Phone, I did accidentally stumble on how to do it.  If anyone else is having the same challenges that I had in "Texting to Short Code,", following is the clarification for how to "Text to Short Code using a Us Cellular Motorola MotoRazr2."

How to Text Message to Advertised Short Code Numbers Using Us Cellular Motorola Cell Phone MotoRazr2

Please note that these instructions are not intended to offend anyone by being too simple for some people, but I wanted to make sure that "Newbies" and experienced, seasoned, "Texters" alike could follow the instructions.

Also, since "Biz Calling Cards" is having a "Grand opportunity inaugurate Party" in Irvine, California, I decided to use them for an example of a "tested and working code" for practice purposes. Of course, if you are available and in the area, you're for real welcome to attend the party too.  (No obligation)

Let's get to "Texting to Short Code" now:

  • Press Your "Menu Button" on your phone (The center Button)
  • Arrow To Your: "Messaging Center" (Envelope Icon)
  • Press Your Right Top Keypad Button for:  "Select"
  • Arrow To: "Create Message"
  • Press Your "Menu Button" (Center Button)
  • Type your text message (Example: Biz) Note: These words are not ordinarily case sensitive, so it does not matter if you type upper or lower case letters. If you happen to get numbers instead of the alphabet here, you can press your "Clr" key to backspace to erase. In order to change your keypad, from making "numbers" to making "alphabet characters", you just press your "*" key. Now try to text in the word you want to type.  Example: You would have to press the estimate "2" key twice, to get to the letter "B". Give your cell phone a couple of seconds, to recognize that the letter "B" is the letter you wanted before you find the next letter you want. Sometimes your cell phone will try to guess what word you are trying to spell. Good thing for us "Newbie Texters," that fellowships and brands keep the words relatively short in order to text to their Short Code Numbers.
  • After you have your word typed in, Push Your Right Top Keypad Button for: "Send To"
  • Your "Contact List" will come up.
  • At Contacts: Arrow Scroll Up or Down to "Voice Mail" (Whichever is closest. On long feel lists, closest is by scrolling up).
  • Push Your Left Keypad Button for: "Options"
  • Arrow Down To: "Enter Number"
  • Press Your Menu (Center Button)
  • Type: Short Code estimate (Example: 82222)
  • Press Keypad Top Right Button for: Ok
  • Push Keypad Green Button to Dial and Send
  • Close the phone.
  • Wait for Return Text Message Call Offer
  • Press Keypad Top Left Button to: Read Your Message, offer, or coupon.
  • Have fun with it.

I had no idea it would be so inviting to find out how to text to Short Code with my carrier and phone, nor how many steps it for real did take to do it, but a couple of times of doing it, and now it's simple.  Apparently "Texting to Short Code" is much dissimilar than just regular "Texting," which is what one of the hot technology trends are today.

Anyone who wishes to stop receiving text messages from a business they have "Texted a Short Code" to, only needs to:

  • Text the word "Stop" to the same "Short Code" number.
  • If you can not remember the Short Code number,
  • Go to your "Message Center"
  • Go to your  "Message In Box"
  • Go to the "Message" you received from the company
  • Scroll down to the end of the message
  • Select "Options"
  • Select "Reply"
  • Type in "Stop"
  • Send

To find out more data about Short Codes, or to look up business Short Codes, there are (2) directories on line that supply this kind of information. They are:

With the first link above, "usshortcodes", habitancy can go to their "Official Csc Directory" and under option "3", crusade brands by the beginning letter of the business or Brand's name.

There are some pretty cool codes out there.  fellowships have come up with fun and creative ways to use Short Code that can be useful to consumers in coupon offerings, event tickets, games, and all kinds of neat stuff.  There is a plethora of data on-line regarding Sms movable Text Messaging and Short Codes.  I hope the data on "How To Text Message to Advertised Short Code Numbers Using Us Cellular Motorola Cell Phone MotoRazr2" has been useful to those who would like to partake in Text to Short Code business offerings.  If you do not have a Motorola MotoRazr2, and still would like to partake in "Texting to Short Code", please feel the business you got the phone from, or ask a friend who has a similar phone how to do it, or just go to "Google" and crusade for your phone type and how to "Text to Short Code".

Happy Texting

Negative Impact of Smart Phones

I have to admit that I'm not smart phone fan, and never concept that smart phones will add any benefit to my daily life. My old Nokia movable phone serves me well, all I need is to call and receive calls and more than that is sending text messages.

Recently I was influenced by my friend and said goodbye to my old movable phone and switched to Apple iPhone and I noticed I have less time than before since I'm permanently reminded with updates ready to download for my movable phone. I talk less to my friends too when we go out since we all are busy doing things with our movable phones.

Lg Phone

Every day while waiting for my daughter at school gate I see many parents, all not talking and heads are down doing one thing that is playing with their phones, I don't understand what is there to make us so busy with our movable phones or is it addiction to finding out what is there even though we don't need it.

Negative Impact of Smart Phones

I understand now why iPhone users for example are very busy, I discovered that there are more than 26000 applications to download for free or purchase for iPhone alone. That means you need 72 years to try them all, one application each day. That is not all, every week there are articles in local newspaper trying to explain to us what more we can do with our iPhone.

Before with my old movable phone I needed extra efforts to make sure my spelling of words that I type is correct, now my smart phone is taking care of that by automatically correcting my spelling.

My kids like to play with all games that is available for them on smart phones specially iPhone, in the back of the car while driving back home from school my daughter set quietly reading book with iPhone nearby she prefers to play games.

Smart phones made it easy for us to connect with others but not to recap with them. We talk less now and text each other more.

I remember listening to radio interview on Bbc world with a Canadian businessman who was in fee of four victorious companies; to my surprise he was not using Blackberry to carry on his daily firm affairs. He said "not being able to sass fast has helped him to think longer before taking any action". He said also "if I was Blackberry user then I will receive emails and I have to sass on spot and this may not be good."

I realized that if we leave it to smart phones to do everything for us then we will start moderately to lose our brain and the potential to think and this is the negative impact of smart phones.

The BlackBerry Torch 9850 Vs The BlackBerry 9810

Rim, the makers of the BlackBerry handset that we have all come to know and love, have recently released the Torch 9810 that promises to be so much faster than its predecessor the 9800, giving the handset a lot more memory and a faster processing speed which can make your taste of using one of our beloved handsets so much more pleasurable.

Here's a bit about the 9850 and what it can do:

BlackBerry

· 8Gb of local storage

The BlackBerry Torch 9850 Vs The BlackBerry 9810

· The memory is upgradable to 32 Gb if you use an Sd card

· 768 Mega-bytes of Ram

· 1.2 Ghz processor

· 4G - which is the most recent network to be released on the market and is something that all new phones are aiming to be working on

· 3.2 inch touch screen

· 800 x 480 screen

· 640 x 480 screen resolution

· Runs on the new BlackBerry Os 7 software

· Wi-Fi enabled plus you can now make calls over Wi-Fi if your carrier will allow it

· 5 Mega-pixel camera

· Easier typing with a 'virtual key design'

The Torch 9850 is absolutely a fast phone and it makes for an easier life, but it does seem that the makers of the BlackBerry are releasing a lot of handsets and although they are all very good, are they are very dissimilar from each other and if so, how?

The 9810 which is what we may call the 'Younger' version of this 9850 looks and acts pretty much the same as its older Brother even with regards to speed and the amount of memory it has (exactly the same), and although it is in its own right a very good phone it is not always compatible with determined apps due to the size of its screen and the recipe of input which can be a bit of a nuisance.

The 9900 has the same amount of storehouse as well as being practically about the same size but it does not run on the faster operating law as the 9850, which means that it is slightly slower and although it is not considerably slower, there is a noticeable incompatibility which has been one of the downsides to BlackBerry phones up until the 9850 was released.

If we think about the 9830 we can see that again it is not much dissimilar to the 9850, it has 8 Gb of local storehouse and the chance for you to have up to 32 Gb of memory should you use a micro Sd card and it also has the same speed processor (1.2 Ghz) but like the 9900 this model is still slightly slower thanks to its operating system.

When it comes to seeing a aid victualer for your phone there are three main associates for you to pick from: Verizon, T-mobile and of course Sprint. Speed wise these providers are not very dissimilar although Verizon is slightly faster than the others especially when it comes to browsing, but it is not a significant incompatibility that should worry you if you happen to go with Sprint or T-mobile. The choice is finally yours, but anything victualer you choose, they cannot take away the fact that the BlackBerry Torch 9850 is a faster and smoother handset that stands out from the crowd.

understanding The carrying out Of mobile Phone Networks

Mobile phones have become as ordinary as pocket radios. There is no where you will go without looking man with the palm tucked close to the ear receiving or development a call.
Mobile services differ greatly from the former telephony aid in many respects. Here, we try to look at how cellular phones phones control and how calls are made and received.

The first thing you will have to understand about mobile technology is mobile phones are essentially radios. All transportation - to an from the expedient - trip along radio lines and is bound by radio transmission rules we see in the old Motorola two way radio systems. The only inequity is that cellular phones are able to apply computer concepts such as industrialized networking and sophiscated programming into their functions and that is how we come by Sms text messages, conferencing, call waiting features and calendar systems.

Motorola Phone

The second conception is that of cells. There is no single block of network but rather a city may be divided into some cells and a call from one cellular expedient to the other keeps hoping along the cells till it gets to the destined number. The advantage of the cell system, is that it allows for frequency reuse, meaning some users can use the same small cell and permits the enterprise to use the same frequency over and over again without locking resources to one phone call only. Typically, one cell covers about 26 square kilometers and each one has a base hub which is just a tower and some radio tool to manage the signals.
Of late, cell phone technologies are laden with computer applications. Sms and Wap entrance are for example typical computer applications that have found their way into cellular functionality. Sms operates like the former email theory and is controlled by a server just like we have a network server. Wap dwells more on computer programming and is also controlled by a Wap server. When you send a text message, it travels over the cellular network and is stored in a server and delivered to the recipient. The suspect why it is purely a computer network facility and independent of the cellular aid is that even whilst receiving calls Sms messages can come through.

understanding The carrying out Of mobile Phone Networks

Wap is purely an internet driven aid integrated into cellular networks to heighten caress normally reserved for internet surfers. Examples of these facilities are downloads and facts services like flight schedules and weather updates which are obtained from cellular operators via handsets.
As mobile users grow in sophiscation, so does the technology that drives the device. Each new day we shall see what we call convergence technology whereby other fields of transportation shall be slowly fused into mobile operations to give customers enhanced experience.

The History Of Cell Phones - How Did The Cell Phone Come About?

The idea for cell phones has been nearby for a lot longer than the technology to supply them was. As soon as the first landlines came into use, habitancy had the idea of enhancing the convenience and flexibility of this new communication medium, and of bringing it to new areas such as cars. At first, cellular phones were wee more than two way conveyable radios, but as technology improved, the concepts behind cell phones improved rapidly.

Bell labs and Motorola were both complex in a dramatic race to see who could construct the first viable cellular phones. While Bell labs had installed innovative radio systems into police cars, these devices were far too large for anything to carry nearby and were thus impractical as a truly movable telephone. However, in 1973, Martin Cooper, a scientist working for Motorola successfully made the first ever cell phone call using a conveyable handset. The age of the cellular phone was at last born, and who did he call? None other than his rival at Bell Labs, Joel Engel, who had been racing with him to generate the invention.

Motorola Phone

Within a integrate of years, both Bell and At&T had come up with prototypes of their own and the first trial areas were set up. Chicago and Tokyo were the first cities in the world where you could use a cell phone but their availability was very wee and the new phones were only ready to a go for whole of trial customers to begin with. For example, the 1979 trial speculation in Chicago distributed cell phones to just 2000 customers.

The History Of Cell Phones - How Did The Cell Phone Come About?

The idea caught on like wildfire. By 1987 there were over one million cell phone users in the Us alone. It seemed as if everyone wanted a cell phone and the major clubs complex had indeed hit a home run. However, there were difficulties. For example, in the Us, the Fcc regulates and allocates radio bandwidth for distinct purposes. The radio spectrum is wee and can become 'full', so it is significant to operate who gets use of distinct parts of it. The area they licensed for cellular phones, at 800 Mhz was quickly crowded. However, instead of giving more, they forced the telecommunication clubs to heighten technology and come up with more effective ways of utilising the bandwidth they had. By the end of the 80's this had been achieved and the cell phone age we know at present indeed got underway. And the rest as they say is history.

Who Invented The Cell Phone?

The idea behind cell phones was conceived in the late 1940's. The idea for a phone that could tour with you was revolutionary but scientists believed it was an achievable idea. The Fcc didn't help, however, in the beginning and would not allot adequate radio spectrum frequencies to make the project work. When the Fcc did ultimately cooperate At&T led the way researching how to make cell phones a reality. But who invented the cell phone?

A former Motorola employee, Dr. Martin Cooper, is credited with the invention of the first conveyable phone. Dr. Cooper made the first cellular phone call in April of 1973. He called his rival Joel Engel the head of investigate at Bell Labs. Although Bell Laboratories advanced the idea of cell phones with technology originally used for communication between police cars, Dr. Cooper who worked for Motorola was the first man to use the technology in a conveyable phone that worked covering a car.

Motorola Phone

The first cell phone invented by Dr. Cooper was called the Motorola DynaTac 8000X. Although it was technically a cell phone it hardly resembled the cell phones we use today. It weighed almost two pounds and was a foot long. The first cell phone was so expensive, costing almost 00, that at first only businesses and the forces had way to them. It took ten years or so before cell phones began to trickle down to the communal and after that the manufactures took off. Thanks to Dr. Cooper's invention, other companies began developing their own cellular phone prototypes and cell phones went from being 50 pound car phones, to two pound mobile phones, to three ounce multitasking tools. Although not originally available to the public, the cell phone became one of the most favorite pieces of technology in a very short time. Today there are more cell phone lines than home lines.

Who Invented The Cell Phone?

Today Dr. Martin Cooper is the Ceo of ArrayComm a wireless technology and systems company founded in 1992. There were mobile phones available prior to Dr. Cooper's invention but they required heavy tool and were not truly conveyable as they could only be used in a car and would only work over a minuscule range. Cell phones are important today and Dr. Martin Cooper will all the time be credited as the man who invented the cell phone. Thanks to him we have the modern communication network we enjoy today.
